Eric L. Kowitz,
Eric L. Kowitz, 48, died July 30, 2004, at his home, Hutchinson.

He was born July 12, 1956, at Hutchinson, the son of William C. "Bud" Jr. and Neta E. Herman Kowitz. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1974 and from IBEW Local No. 661 Apprenticeship Program in 1978. A lifetime resident of Hutchinson, he was an electrician and owner and operator of Kowitz and Kowitz Electrical Contractors.He belonged to Emanuel Lutheran Church and was a former member of Sky Ryders Drum and Bugle Corps. He was also a member and former board member of the Hutchinson Water Sports Club.

On July 19, 1980, he married Susan J. Knop at Hutchinson. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Cory; his mother, Hutchinson; a brother, Jeff, Hutchinson; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Lisa Krause (Frizell)
Lisa Krause, 47, died Jan. 5, 2004, at Hospice House, Hutchinson.

She was born June 16, 1956, at Hutchinson, the daughter of Norman L. and Kathleen M. "Kay" Krause. She was a 1974 graduate of Hutchinson High School, Hutchinson, and graduated from Wichita State University with a degree in education. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she taught several years in the Wichita public school system and had worked at KANOX for 13 years, currently serving as vice-president.She was a 2000 graduate of Leadership Hutchinson and was currently serving on the boards of the Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club of Hutchinson and the Girl Scouts.On July 19, 1997, she married Jeff Frizell at Hutchinson. He survives.

Ron McInturf

Ron McInturff, 27, died January 30, 1984 in Denver Colorado. He was born February 3, 1956, at Hutchinson Kansas, the son of Gerald and Virginia McInturff. He is survived by his parents, a sister Sherry and three brothers, Brad Ken and Todd. On September 17, 1976, he was involved in a motorcycle accident where he sustained severe head injuries. In 1983 he moved with his parents to Syracuse, Kansas to help them run the motel and restaurant they owned. He was sent to Denver Colorado on January 30th for medical testing for the seizures he continued to have since his accident, where he died that night. He would have graduated in 1974, but failed History. After the accident, a special teacher came to the rescue and he passed with a “B” and he did receive his diploma. Great job Ron!

Terry Walters would have been a member of the graduating class of 1974. He passed away in 1973 after a long battle with cancer that took his leg and later spread to his lungs.

Terry Whitney
Terry L. Gabhart (Whitney), 28, died October 20,1984 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita Kansas from suicide. Terry was born April 22,1956 in Missouri, the son of Anita and Jerry Gabhart. He was raised in Hutchinson by his mom and step-dad, Gene Whitney. He graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1974. He made his home in Hutchinson with his wife Lorrie Gabhart (Weaver) and their three children Tiffany, Bree and Justin. They divorced in 1980 and he remarried Connie Wilkes in 1981.
